Reading Response Question for the Week of October 25-29
We have been talking in class about non-fiction books, and we have read several together. If you were an author, what kind of non-fiction book would you write? Be sure to tell us what you would include in your book and why you would choose that topic.
If I were to write a nonfiction book, I would write about The Human Body. I really think it’s fascinating how each part of the body works and how each part works in cooperation with the other parts. I would include lots of diagrams and WOW Facts in my book!
ReplyDeleteIf I were to write a nonfiction book I would write about Pompeii. I watched a show on the history channel about Pompeii. I would be sure to explain why Pompeii caught on fire. I would write about the volcano that errupted. I would include pictures of the bodies that were found after the volcano errupted. They look like stones but were real people who were trapped and killed by the hot lava and ashes. My book would help kids make a connection when they see the ride Escape from Pompeii at Busch Gardens.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a writer I would write a book about horses.I would name a lot of horses,like the Arabian horse holds it's tail up when it moves.[I lerned it at horse backriding lesons.]That is what I would write about.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to write a nonfiction book, I would write about animals. I would write about them because I love animals. If I were to write about a specific animal it would probably be big cats, such as Jaguars, Tigers, and Lions. My book would have lots of facts, pictures and interesting things about the big cats.
ReplyDeleteIf I was a author I would write a Non- Fiction book about the sea. I would name the book “Deep in the Sea”. Then I would tell you about all the creatures in the sea and I would tell you about all the different types of the creatures. Then I would tell you all the AWESOME facts about the sea.
ReplyDeleteI would write a book about camping. It would have all of my favorite campgrounds in it and fun things to do when you're camping.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to write a nonfiction book, I would write about the most poisoness animals on Earth. I found it fascinating as to how some animals have poison in there body that they can use to kill their prey for food, or for their protection. I would include drawings on where and how their bodies are created and store poison.
ReplyDeleteI would write a book about sharks. I would about them because I think they are so amazing. Who else can fit 3000 teeth in a their mouth.They also scare me to death and I always try and face my fears. So I would like to know everything about sharks so I would know what they think and why they attack so I would know how not to get attacked.

ReplyDeleteIf I was an author I would write a non-fiction book about pet cats, titled, "How To Take Care of Your Pet Cats. I would tell you what you would need to take care of your pet cats, like water, food, hair ball treatment, medicine to avoid fleas, ticks, and mosquitos. Then I would describe some cat behaviors to look out for. Watch out for small dead animals that are prizes caught just for you!
ReplyDeleteIf I was a auther I would write a Non-Fiction book about The Water Cycle. I would title it “The Water Cycle.“ My book will include a diagram of the water cycle and the diffrent stages of the cycle. I enjoyed learning about the water cycle in Science class so much that I would want to write a book about it.
ReplyDeleteI would write a book about baseball. It would have all my favorite teams like the Orioles and the Braves. I would also write about non major league teams like the Edenton Steamers. I like to watch them play during the summer.
ReplyDeleteIf I was an auther I would write about different uses of air craft. The navy, army, marine and air force use them to protect our country. They are also used to help us travel around the world quicker. Another use is to fertilize large fields of crops.
ReplyDeleteI would write a non-fiction book about the Thrusher shark. I would talk about it's long tail. I would also give other facts and have real pictures of this shark. I would choose this topic because I am really interested in the thrusher shark and it's body.
ReplyDeleteI would write about mummies. I have been reading a lot of books about mummies and I am fascinated by them. I also have been reading in the books about all of the famous pharaohs.
ReplyDeleteIf I wrote a non fiction book I would write it about farm animals.I would tell all the AWESOME facts about them like it takes 3 moths 3 weeks and 3 days for a sow to have a litter of pigs. Then I would make a title and the title would be Facts about farm animals.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to write a non-fiction book it would be about how to take care of your pets.it would tell you how to feed them,give them baths,help them when there sick and how to give them medicine and the right medicine. Alot and alot of stuff to tell you about your pets.So thats what ill write.
ReplyDeleteI would write a book about Taekwondo. It is an interesting hobby to do. I would describe the techniques and say it came from Korea. I enjoy Taekwondo and that is why would like write about that.
