Response Question for the Week of June 6-10, 2011
It’s here! I can’t believe it, but our time together in third grade is coming to an end. We have only a few short days left, and you will soon be enjoying summer and getting ready to be fourth-graders. What are your best memories from this year? Use this blog to capture what was “best about third grade!”
So many of my students have been students I have taught for two years, and some of you I have known since preschool! It is going to be so sad for me to see you move on, but I know you are ready! You have been a wonderful class, and I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching you. You have taught me many things along the way. I will miss your smiles, your dancing, and your excellent and entertaining writing. Best wishes next year. I love you!
ReplyDeleteI loved third grade it was the best grade yet.I loved all my teachers and what we did.The poems, the biography project,and many more.I'm so sad that third grade is over.I hope every one is looking forward to the summer!);
ReplyDeleteMy best memories are about going to Hunt Cub! I liked Hunt Club because we got to pick up the turkeys. We got to pet all the animals and we got to learn new stuff about the animals! That is one of my favorite things I did this year! I also liked the Annie play at Kellam. My favorite times are when we got to do fun things as a group. I liked all of the labs we did in science. Those were really fun. It was fun to have three different teachers a day. I like being able to switch teachers. I have so many memories I cannot pick just one.
ReplyDeleteI liked the SOL test because we got to show our best work and all we had learned. We also got to play with our friends after we finished our SOL's. Third grade has been really fun.
ReplyDeleteMy best memories is making new friends since I was new to the school this year. I was scared at the beginning of the year because I didn't know what the school was like but I was surprised at how nice some people were. Another good memory is that I got to see my cousin everyday. I look forward to coming back to Creeds next year.
ReplyDeleteI loved third grade it was awesome.I absoutley loved the teachers and the fun things we did.Like the Annie play and going to Land of Promise Farms.I don't want third grade to be over.I am looking foward to fourth grade.
ReplyDeleteMy best memories of third grade is going on field trips, computer lab, and freedom friday! I enjoyed switching classes and having three teachers for different subjects. My favorite assembly was the break dancers. They really got some moves! Third grade was a lot of fun, and I hope to see everyone next school year. Have a great summer!
ReplyDeleteMy best memory is the day we did the SOL test. I remember that because we got to go outside and play for a long time. I also remember the first day of school when we met all of the kids in third grade. HAPPY SUMMER!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEvery thing was my best memormy.I cant belive third grade went by so fast this year.I love all of my teachers.The best memory of all is when all the classes watch a movie together.When i go to 4 grade i hope to see all of my classmates again and teachers. I might still be posting coments on this blog next year!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory was everything. One of my favorite memories was watching videos after the SOLs. I like the field trips too, like Christmas at Huntclub Farms and the play at Kellam High School. My favorite project was the famous American project. Third grade was the best grade I have had. ReplyDeleteI thought the best thing about third grade was having the Anoles in the class and taking care of them. I liked learning about animals and their habitat. I also really liked guided reading. I liked how we always had stuff to do, we were never bored in guided reading. I am excited to see what 4th grade is going to be like.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory was when we went on a field trip to the Horsley farm. I loved the piglet station. My second favorite was the food & equipment station. I really loved that field trip. HAPPY SUMMER!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really loved doing the lattice with Mrs. hardin, famous Americans with Ms. Scheach, and This I believe with Mrs. Flinn.I really liked working with Mrs. Messina in Mrs. Hardin's class.I am looking forward to Summer and going into the 4th grade.

I have no idea, all of it was great. I have no favoite thing. I am going to miss all the friends I had in this class, and I hope that when we move to fourth grade, they will cherish and remember the memories we had.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite subject was language arts because of the famous American project. I really enjoyed reading all the AR books. One of my most memorable moments was the very first day of school, when I met Mrs. Flinn.
ReplyDeleteWow. I cant belive 3rd grade is almost gone! I LOVED 3rd, but most of all I liked the Anoles the best. I liked them because they were funny, interesting,and apart of nature, and I love nature. I also liked them because they had AWESOME addaptaions,and I got to KEEP 1!I also liked the teachers. ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory was learning about Greece and the Parthenon.On the Parthenon there are doric columns.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about the third grade was doing "This I believe". Because it expressed my feelings, but the hard part was waiting to get it submitted and redoing it over and over. I'am also looking forward to seeing Ms. Scheach in the fourth grade. :)

ReplyDeleteThe best thing about 3rd grade was having the butterflies and also waching their life cycles. Also I liked P.E. because I could play with all my friend. I'm excited to see what 4th grade will be like and I hope I get Miss Schreach again for my teacher.

When Ms Scheach got the anoles and we learned about them and I won one to take home. I am looking forward to next year.
My favorite memory was going to Kellam to see Annie. It was fun to watch and especially because I got to see my brother, Drake, perform. I like listening to him sing and watching him act because I think he is so good at it. I want to be just like him when I grow up. I can't wait for next year when all of my school will be able to see him again. I am proud of Drake.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that was best about third grade was the great teachers. I will miss Mrs.Hardin, and Mrs.Flinn. I wont have to miss Mrs.Schaech because she will be teaching fourth grade next year. I am curious to know what the other teachers are like in the fourth grade.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memories of third grade would half to be evreything! I loved the anoles,meeting new friends,all the teachers,evreything! I'm going to be so depressing when third grade is over:(. I'm especially going To miss the teachers. I will really miss third grade:(,but I'm looking forward to Summer!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that my best memorys this school year was just being with each other, the field trips, and having fun together. I'm sad that this year is a couple days more but we could maybe get together over the summer. I'm going to miss all of you.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite memories was the This I Believe and how we all waited for our letters. And how Clayton and Eliza got published. I wonder if I'll get published at my new school. And I'll miss all of you guys.
